My fiance and I are having a very hard time finding a venue. We currently live in Australia but want to have the wedding in New Jersey USA. We are planning for an August wedding on a Saturday night. Because our families are split between continents we can only have a small wedding of about 80 guests. Every venue we've called does not do Saturdays night wedding of 80, most do weddings of 120 minimum. Does anyone know of any venues in NJ who will do a Saturday night wedding of 80 guests?

    try the NJ boards.  They will be able to help you a little better.  






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Agree, come over to the NNJ board, but just to warn you it is going to be harder to find a traditional venue with that low of a minimum. I would expand your search and start looking at restaurants as well.Also when/if you repost let us know what area of NJ and what price point, you'll get a lot more recs that way.

    If you're willing to go **just** over the border in Pa. (first exit off of rt. 80 in the Delaware Water Gap) there's a place called Water Gap Country Club.  My DD was married there and it was great.  We're from Warren County NJ and it wasn't too far for us at all.
