I am having a casual spring wedding. Time 400. I am catering with a reputable caterer, but I have been questioning the menu. We are going to have shrimp sqewers and bacon wrapped scallops butlered. The main buffet will contain gourmet sandwiches, ceasar salad, pasta salad, fruit and vegetable platters, cheese platters, hummus dip and chips as well as spinach dip. I like the menu I know the food is wonderful, we are providing an open bar and an awesome reggae band so all in all I think we will be fine, but my dilemma is I am used to going to weddings with carving stations or sit down style. My main goal is for everyone to have fun so I wanted to provide great entertainment. Does this menu sound suitable for a late afternoon wedding??
