Have you ever been to a wedding that had an "after-party"? How did it go? What are your thoughts on it?
We are having a dinner wedding reception at a restaurant (in their upstairs party room), and there is not room for dancing, but I love to dance and think it would be a fun part of the celebration (note: please don't try to talk me into moving my venue to allow for dancing. Yes, I like dancing, but it's not crucial to my happiness). There is a bar/dance club about a 5 minute walk away. I'm thinking of informally inviting my guests to come party at this bar after the reception is over. I'm just wondering if this is a cool option, or if it would seem wierd, or if people wouldn't want to go. Ideas? Thank you!
