Bridal Shower Thank You

Hi Girls,My bridal shower is this weekend and I got a some things for my bridesmaids, MOB and MOG for hosting the shower.I wanted to include a little poem on the gift bags and I thought I saw one a while back but can not seem to find it anymore.  Does anyone have one that they can share?  I thought it said something like thank you for showering me and here is something for you to shower with...not really sure though.I am including in the gift bags - VS Shower Gel, VS Lotion, and a Gift Card to a restaurant where they live.  Is this enough or should I include something else?TIA Ladies!!

This is what I used: "Hope all of your showers are as wonderful as the one you've given me."

Was just going to suggest something similar, Tracy!  I bought the same things for my girls based on an idea here and wrote a heartfelt note in each thank-you card.  At the end, I included something along the lines of "Please accept this small token of thanks so that your next shower might be as wonderful as the one you gave me!"

Okay so I had no idea I was supposed to get a gift for the person hosting my shower... Or is this the same gift that is given to all the bridesmaids at the RD? I'm lost!

Not necessary to get your girls something oodsie.  I didn't get a hostess gift when I was a bridesmaid for my SIL last year.  My girls just did a great job with my shower and I felt like giving them something a little more substantive to say thanks than just a thank-you card.  They also weren't expecting anything, which made spending a few dollars on each of them for VS bath/body stuff a nice gesture.

Thanks for the ideas girls!  I am going to make up tags to go on the gifts this evening.  I did write a heartfelt note in each bag already but wanted some type of tag to go along with it.Thanks!!

oodsie - I never heard of this before TK. But I thought it was a nice gesture. I gave each girl a nice bar of soap, a loofa sponge and a small umbrella ($3 each at walmart). I probably spent $50 total for 9 girls and my mom which included gift bags, tissue paper, etc.

I suppose a month after my shower is a little delayed for this and I should just wait at this point until Oct for the RD to give them gifts? Darn! Nice thoughts though.
