Ok I posted on the DW board as well but thought id try here too.
FI and I are getting married Nov 24 in Mexico but we would like to have a reception here for the ppl who couldnt come. There will be about 80 ppl attending. Now I have NO idea how to get started planning this ! Heres where Im stuck :
* Venue: what kind of venue do I pick? Formal, hall, golf course ? I just dont know !
** I was planning to have a lunch reception but besides showing the wedding video and serving cocktails and h'orderves what else goes on durring the day? Normally at a traditional reception( following the ceremony) theres the speeches, dinner,dessert, some entertainment and then dancing.
Thank you for anyone who can give me some help !! Even if your not doing this yourself, maybe youve been to this type of event for someone else .
