We made a photo album of our engagement photos and are using it as our guest book for guests to sign around the photos (like a year book). Since we aren't the most lovey-dovey, romantic couple, we thought it would be more up our alley to leave a funny/humorous (maybe a little dirty) poem at the beginning of the book that tells our guests to leave a message or whatever in the book and thanks for coming to the wedding. This is the least cheesy poem I could find:
We thought this book would make a great souvenir
So if you have a wedding message, please write it in here
Some words of wisdom, encouragement, or joke
A poem, a drawing, an anecdote
We'll look through it fondly in years to come
So thanks for making this book a special one!
But it's still not quite right. Does anyone else have any suggestions or resources?

Re: Guest book intro/instructions
At my bat mitzvah, my mom asked everyone to include a picture of themselves with their RSVP and she had a book made. Each person had half a page or 1/4 of a page and they found their page to write on by looking for their own picture. This was the poem we had next to it:
Please find your picture in this book
Open it up and take a look
Please share your thoughts on my special day
I'd love to hear what you have to say!
I know this is not what you are doing but I figured I'd share. Maybe you could re-word my poem somehow.
Good luck!
I agree - I like that one as well... I think I may use it also! Thanks for sharing!
