Classy wedding at Wrigley field?

So my fiance and I are thinking about having our reception at Wrigley field,  we love sports and the Cubbies.  We plan on doing the fun foods like hot dogs, brats and chicken.  However, I want to still decorate classy and want my colors to still be yellow and grey what are your thoughts is it possible to still have all these elements at wrigley field?

Frankly, I don't see "classy" and "Wrigley" together... as much as I love Wrigley (for the history and the timelessness of the stadium) and the Cubs, Wrigley, frankly, is a dump... but that's JMO.

Edited: Where is your ceremony? How are guests arriving? Wrigleyville has very minimal parking, especially for people who are out of towners and don't know the city. You also have to be cautious of any other events downtown around that day that could complicate travel (and further complicate parking).

I live in the Chicago area too, and I don't know that I would have a wedding there if it was a bigger party.  If you wanted a smaller wedding (JOP, perhaps) and then you and your immediate families could do a rooftop thing for the reception, that would be okay.  But expecting that of guests is a lot.  You know how many people would refuse to come because they aren't Cubs fans?  Not something you want to tangle with.

Sorry but a baseball field does not say classy wedding to me.

I don't necessarily think baseball field and classy are mutually exclusive. I do think that baseball field plus "fun food" and classy are mutually exclusive.

We were planning on having the ceremony at a nearby church, pictures around chicago area.  The majority of people will be coming from chicago, I know it isn't the classiest kind of place but people turn ugly warn down barns into elegant wedding reception venues.  I'm extremely indecisive but I think it can be done, I have yet to see the actual room but I just love the idea of the photobooth infront of the wrigley sign on the brick wall.  Well thanks everyone for your advice I really just want a fun relaxing venue and with food like wrigley offers any other suggestions we are on a tight budget as we are paying for it ourselves.

Your idea would be great!  I've heard that it's $$$$$ to have a wedding/reception there.  If it's not a Cubs game day, I am sure some of the nearby bars/restaurants would love to host you.  I know that Rockit can hold about 300 and Cubby Bear has some party space too.   Or the rooftop spaces!

Or could you take the elements you like and move it to a nicer place?  I'm sure you could figure out a "wrigley" sign to put on a wall and take photobooth pics with.

I am not familiar with Wrigley Field persay, but I have heard of weddings being done at the stadiums around me, and some of the pictures actually look very classy.  You should see if you can google Wrigley Field wedding photos and see if you can find any to get an idea of what other Wrigley brides did to the place.

I'm totally confused on if you're planning to rent the venue out for a private function or attempt to have your reception during a baseball game? (ps go white sox! haha)

The reception is going to be at Wrigley Field. I am not sure why this is such a hard concept to grasp

OP it just depends on how much baseball you want to bring into the wedding. If you are huge fans and you love the Cubs there is no reason that you cannot do a reception there and it still be classy. There are some links posted below. Look around online for some decorating ideas.

Wrigley is beautiful.  If you're both Cubs fans (who isn't?!  I'm from NE Ohio, and my heart bleeds Cubbie blue!) and Wrigley is special to you, I say go for it!  I might say nix the grey/yellow and go with Cubs colors instead.
