This weekend I went with FMIL and FSIL for a MOG dress and a BM dress (she's my only one). Success! We got dresses for the wedding, rehearsal, and our couple's shower that FI's parents friend's are throwing us in a few weeks.
Then on Sunday, I had my first dress fitting. My original dress consultant, who actually insisted on my trying on the dress that ended up being the one, was scheduled off, but ended up stopping in and saying hi. She then helped me out with the whole veil/flower/fascinator/comb debate and picked out a fabulous headpiece for me!!! The dress fit well minus them having to add to the bust (the boob fairy never stopped at my house) but the rest fit surprisingly well. All my fitness has paid off!
We then went on a mission for burlap and twine for our centerpieces, and after trying every craft store in Knoxville, I remember seeing on Pinterest to go to Home Depot. Total score and got all the burlap and twine we need for everything for 12 dollars!! WHOOT WHOOT!
I feel so much better to check all that stuff off! I'm back to being excited about the wedding and planning in general...SO YAY!
