Short centerpiece help

I want to use battery operated tabletop fountains as my centerpieces, but they are too small.  What can I set them on top of that won't look strange or tacky?

Honestly though, you don't want them too big or tall otherwise they obstruct views of other folks at the table and hinder conversations. They should not be any taller than 8-10" max.

The fountains are 6" tall and the base is 4x4.  I feel they will get lost in the middle of a large table.

How big are the tables? Are they immensely bigger than the standard 60" rounds that seat 8 people approximately? Really you don't want something huge and those sound like they're just right.
