As I was looking up the origin of the something old something new something borrowed something blue and something about silver in your shoe. I thought do guest sit and look for these items ?

So I thought maybe make a board and place it somewhere saying that quote and can you find them? It could be a cute game during the reception for everyone to think and talk about. Of course the people closer to you can figure things out much easier. Sounds a little tacky I know. But im all about fun

I wouldn't want my guests to find them. My something old was my bra and a lot of people's something blue is their underwear.

I realize some make items secret. But in this particular situation we wouldent make anything secret.

If you have your heart set on a "treasure hunt," I would limit that sort of thing to the kids' table.  Although honestly, the kids I've seen at weddings had so much fun playing with bubbles and interacting with the adults that they didn't need any entertainment to keep them happy.

It's a wedding, not a child's birthday party.  Leave the games at home.  

Your guests are adults.  The can socialize and enjoy themselves without toys and games.
