When we originally started planning my wedding, we had decided a LONG time ago that we didnt want a first dance, it just wasnt us. After a couple of months, people have convinced us that we would regret not having one, so we said why not?!
Now, my Fiance & I cannot agree on a song. I have come up with a huge list on ones that I am willing to dance to. I have had him listen to the whole list, and I got the same response the same to every single one, "It's ok. Not terrible, but its ok." The song that he wants wasnt on the list and is a TERRIBLE song in my opinion and its just not me. Not to mention, the song is a tad bit overdone, and we are BOTHare about being as different and unique as we can. I do not think it is wedding worthy, its a nice song, but I do not want it as our song. A couple of people have told me to let him have the song, becaue he doesnt get much else in the planning process, but I cant bring myself to do that. I dont want to be too selfish or have him be secretly pissed off about it....
SHOULD I LET HIM HAVE IT, of is it Ok for me to say no.
Dont Want to miss a thing-Aerosmith (His Choice)
Your Everything-Keith Urban (Mine)
Couple others we have been looking at, but these are about all we can decide is decent, do-able songs. We've gone through MILLIONS of list of songs:
Could Not ask for More-Sara Evans
I Do (Cherish You)-Mark Wills
My Best Friend-Tim Mcgraw
