We have booked an American Legion Hall in a very small town for $25! The problem is, the building has become too small as we've decided to add a DJ and dancing. The great thing is that the venue is veeerry flexible and anything goes.
So my question is, would it be weird to set up a tent in the back and have a combo indoor/outdoor reception? I think this would help solve our space issue, but I've never heard of it and I don't know if it's too weird or even doable.
If so, what would you have inside and what would you have out back under the tent? The bar will be inside so should the buffet be set up inside or under the tent, should tables be setup inside or under the tent? What about the DJ?
I think it could be done. but I'm just not sure of the logistics of it all. Thanks!
