Menu ideas

I am thinking about doing italian foods for the reception. Lots of cheese, bread, pasta, etc. I've toyed with the idea of a pasta bar, but not sure how exactly that works. Any of ideas or suggestions (either on the pasta bar or other wise)? TIA.
