I've been told that reception entryway decor makes a big difference. What are you ladies doing?
As the entrance to my reception venue (or at least, the dinner and dance bit of it) is down a winding hallway in a hotel, I don't really know what to do to make it special without spending a lot or lighting the hotel on fire. I would just decorate the cocktail hour area and call it good, but we've got guests coming later in the evening who would miss the cocktail hour entry decorations. Considered using some kind of electric votives to light up the hallway for guests, but not sure if they even sell those (and if they do, don't know how much they would cost). Thoughts?
