Need Color Ideas

I am at a color block. I have searched and browsed tons of photos and blogs regarding this and nothing I have said "wow I like that".
Details -
May 21 2011
6pm Ceremony in a garden and 6:30-11 reception.
I want a spring feel - and one of the colors to be one that the bridal can wear that isnt pastel (I like pastel accents, but would like to not dress them in pastel).
Its in Maryland

hmm....i second the dark purple idea. these days it seems as though any color combo goes. my girls wore black dresses w/ pink, orange, yellow and green in their bouquets.

I also like the dark purple (or maybe eggplant?). 

I like the magenta or fuschia color also, except the venue chairs look like they have red cusions.  I think the purple would look better against the red than the hot pink would.

Purple and Orange. The are not pastel but come in several different shades. They can be bright and bold but come in soft shades.

Wow everyone flocked to purple!
I will browse some purple photos for ideas, most I have seen though are very fallish.
Any thoughts a dark blue?
