Hi Ladies --
Question for you... our venue has a gorgeous brick patio in back where we'll be having our reception. It's very tightly laid (so no cracks or anything).
I was looking at options for dance floors and it seems like the only option vendors in the area provide are a medium brown wood parquet, all white, or all black. Those really don't go with the rest of the decor (the chairs are a mahogany brown). So my question is, is there any harm with just sectioning off an area and just leaving that gorgeous brick as the dance floor? I know it's not great on people's knees, but for a couple hours wouldn't they be okay? Or is this a total no no? Would also of course save $500.
