How long does a traditional reception last? From weddings I have gone to previously, I remember around 5 hours. However, the coordinator at our venue says a traditional wedding has a 1 hr cocktail hour and 3 hour reception. I think this is really short but she assures me its standard. How long do you all have your reception venues for?
