incorporating photos in your wedding

I had some great engagement pics taken this past weekend and I would love to display some of them somehow at the wedding reception.  I was thinking maybe getting a few nice frames and display some on the gift table and guest book table... but how else and where else could I put them?  Would it be corny to use one with my table centerpieces?

I haven't had my pictures taking yet, but I planned on using them at the reception. lately, I've been going to receptions and the couples have placed them on the guest tables in nice frames. I don't think that there is anything wrong with that... Especially if you love the pictures.. Maybe use them as save the dates as well.

I'm getting a couple of digital frames and loading them with pics of FI and I on our travels, and photos with friends and family. I'm probably going to get two, and put them near seating areas by the dance floor.

You could use them as your table numbers, put them on the sign in table, gift table, cake table, on the bar, etc. Our venue had these awesome ledges in the hallway so we put a bunch out there with candles and rose petals, so if your venue has anything like that, use it! I think most people expect to see cute pictures of the couple at the wedding, so I don't think it's corny to incorporate them into your centerpieces at all. I did.

Gobs of ways you could display them ... what is the general vibe of your wedding? And do you have a whole bunch of different shots you'd like to display or just a few?

We used them as our table numbers. I used Picnik (now defunct but there are other similar websites) to type in a nice font each table number on different e--pics, and put the pics in black and white. Then I found some cheap, but nice, black frames and voila!

You could display them on the escort card table like you mentioned as well.

We take ours in a few weeks & we will have a video montage. We will use that montage and some more pics that we will scan and set to music...we are having an outdoor reception at my Brother's house and we are going use his projector and play them against the wall of his 2 story house.

Thanks for the ideas!  We can't use them for our Save the Dates. We actually did things a bit backwards and had the engagements pics three months before the wedding.  The save the dates had been long sent out since then!

I think some people have mentioned that you can do a slide show. It's not that hard to put together and I think you can rent projectors from most party supply companies.

I think putting some photo cubes (http://www.amazon.com/Lucite-desktop-photo-frame-photos/dp/B001I6FBW2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340677177&sr=8-1&keywords=photo+cubes) on the table. Or you could even put together some little booklets. Maybe with some fun facts or trivia about you for people to look through.
