Hello!
We are having a fall wedding in Seattle and originally were planning an outdoor event so we could be among the beautiful colors but came to the conclusion that the weather is just too unreliable and now we are having the ceremony and reception indoors in the same venue.
What I need help with is this: originally I was doing burgundy and champagne as our wedding colors. My gown is light gold/champagne in color and the BM dresses are burgundy and the men will be wearing a combo of champagne/ivory and burgundy.
Now since our plans have changed I want to do an "outdoors in the fall" theme with the decorations and I'm wondering if they will clash too much?
I think red and champagne are fall-y enough colors to still work, but I'm worried if my tables have ivory tablecloths with red napkins and then bamboo plates and "kitschy" decorations like leaves/pine cones/candles/wood/lanterns it will be too all over the place-like elegance meets "down on the farm" or something....
What do you ladies think? Any other ideas of how I can make this work? I'm also on a VERY tight budget so I think you can see how difficult this is for me!!!
