Unique table names?

Hi

I really like the idea of naming the tables instead of just numbers but I'm trying to find some names that really mean something to both me and my fiance.

Our wedding has a bit of a Disney touch since Disney means a lot to both of us (where we had our first date, we went there the day after we got engaged, and we're going to Disneyworld for our honeymoon). I thought of naming the tables after attractions that we both love.

Another idea is naming them after animals. We met while going to school at a zoo to train exotic animals. I thought we can name the tables after animals that we got to train and have a photo of them (alligator, monkey, hyena, eagle, parrot, horse, porcupine, etc.), and also maybe having 2 tables named after our dogs as well (they are going to be in the wedding).
Over half the people at our wedding will be our classmates from the zoo so I know they will appreciate this.

You could always do both- tthere are exotic animals in many disney movies, maybe use their Disney names while also representing their animalistic features? Just a thought... Disney is not childish - everyone can have fun and be a big kid sometimes, and why not for the one day that is you and your love's day?!

The Disney table names is a simple way to bring a light touch of Disney to your theme. You could do movies, attractions at the MK, couples, etc.

I would probably think of old-school reading groups if I were to see tables named after animals. SItting at the hyena or alligator table at a wedding just doesn't fit, to me.

Meant to suggest that you number your tables in additionto the names so that the tables can be set up in numerical order. Of course, that depends on how many tables you're going to have and the size of your venue. If you have, say 15 tables, numbers are going to help pinpoit where the Mickey and Minnie table is located in the room. We had 8 guest tables in a very small room so we just used names (flowers that represented love or frienship) so guests wandering around looking for their table wasn't an issue.
