The colors I am using for my wedding are teal, chocolate brown and white and I'm having round tables (of 8 guests each) at the reception. I will have white table cloths and white chair covers. For the chairs I was thinking of having brown sashes, but my dilema is weather I should use a teal overlay or a teal runner for the tables. My center pieces will have white flowers...please advise
Re: advise table overlays vs table runners
[QUOTE]I agree that runners can look awkward on round tables (it's not symmetrical, which drives me nuts) but I hate solid (as in, not sheer) overlays more. I think they are pointless. I mean, if you're going to do that, why not just use tablecloths in that color? So if the overlay is sheer, I say go with that. If not, I vote runner instead.

</div><div>I agree with this, unless you are doing table squares that don't take up the whole table. We made table squares out of fun fabric I got at Joann's on sale, and it ended up being around $100 total, which was a lot cheaper than most of the overlay's I found online.
