Hospitality Staff instead of catering compony?

I spoke with a caterer today who ended up being completely out of my price range. She suggested to me to have food delivered to the venu, then hire a hospitality staff for $17 an hour to save money. What do you ladies think about this? I will be saving $4,000!

if you like their food, and what they do, then i dont see why not.

Try their food and make sure there is a way for it to stay hot at the venue if they deliver it.  Do not want cold fish and chicken.  If you feel comfortable with them then go for it.  That is a lot of money you could save/spend elsewhere.
