Canvass Tote Bag Favors

I hate the idea of having favors at my reception that no one will use. And thought of spending lots of money on edible favors isn't appealing either. I thought it would be cute to give some sort of reusable tote bag as a favor to our guests. I know they make ones that are small and either fold up or fit into a sack. Anyone know of a place that would have these as wedding favors? Thanks!

Re: Canvass Tote Bag Favors

  • if you just want basic canvas tote bags they have them at walmart for $3 or $4 bucks thats where I got mine and then i got the iron on letters to put their names on them or if you have a michaels they have the rhinestone bridesmaid and flower girl iron ons for $1..hope this helped Laughing
  • I got canvas tote bags for each of my bridesmaids when I first asked them to be in my BP from this site actually. Their names were all embroidered in, and the bags were in $15 for each and way bigger than I expected. You might want to search around the knot because the embroidering might look a little more put together than if you did it yourself. I just say that because I am not crafty :( but if you are I'm sure you could personalize it to be super cute.
  • Thanks for all of your responses, but I'm looking to do some sort of reuseable bag as favors for my wedding guests not my bridal party.

The ones that show up as multiple colors available, for $0.80 each.  I ordered 40 of them.  They're not super heavy weight, but I'm happy with them.

Thanks for the link!! Are you just giving out the bags plain or are you putting some sort of wedding logo on them?
  • I'm going to make a tag and tie on with ribbon so that they can have it plain later.  Really, as much as you love your wedding monogram/logo/date/whatnot, nobody else cares once they leave the reception.  :)

    I agree about the monogram/logo...

Just thought it would be silly to give them a plain tote bag and nothing else. =)
