3 yr old in a men's size 34.....sorry long

Hey ladies sorry i haven't been on in a while had major issue's with my computer the last week or so. I went out on Tuesday with my sister an two nephews. I had to take my sister to get fitted for her dress, (all went well. yay) then we were off to find suits for my nephews (they are my ring bearers) i just cant see spending almost the same as the grown men to rent tux's, so i figured if i get them a suit, they can at least wear it again for the holidays. My younger nephew was no problem he is 2 an fits perfectly in a 2t. Before i purchased one for him, i wanted to find one that kinda matches for my older nephew. (then came the problems) We already knew he would be in a larger size then his age (he wears a 10/12 shirt already) So we went to a size 12 pant... no luck then we tried a 14 and 16 ...no luck again (cant get it around his stomach) So i was like lets go to a store with Husky sizes. We tried every size between 12HUsky and 20 Husky... they still would not close over his stomach... (at this point i am mad and upset...how could my sister let my 3 yr old nephew get this big) As we were walking out we passed the men's department, i was like what the heck lets just see... 32 mens pants did not fit, BUt 34 was the winner, it even had a little wiggle room).. So now i am confused do i buy a mens pant and have it drastically altered or tell my sister that he has to sit out, an only let my younger nephew be my ring bearer. I really want them both, but its gonna cost an arm an leg just to get an outfit tailored to him..i knew he was big for his age but i really am in shock to find out he is that big, all i ever see him in is sweats or pants with a strecthy waist band- now i know why. :( what do you guys think??

I would not kick your nephew out because of pants. Are you paying for the alterations or your sister?

I also want to say that I'm sorry of what is going on here with your nephew and his size. That sounds very dangerous especially for his age. I hope your sister is aware of this and turns things around for him. Of course, I'm not aware of the situation here so I'm just basing this off of what you are saying.

could they take a kids husky pants and put an elestic waist on it and somehow, you could try to expand it?I am sorry for your nephew... his pediatrician should be stepping in if he is only three and already has a waist of that size... but that is a story for another day.

My family keeps telling my sister that it is not good for him, but she blows us off, telling us that the doctor said he is fine (which NONE of us believe). If i could afford to have him live with me, i would in a heart beat!! He weezes when he breaths and i get sick every time i think that if she does not straighten up, he isnt gonna make it to 10.... i'm sorry... this is just really upseting to me
