Me and my FI have been going back and forth with our decision to serve alcohol. The main reason that we're having issues with this is the fact that he has several family members that are alcoholics and I have a recovering alcoholic in my family. We're worried that if we serve alcohol, people might get out of control. My parents are paying for the reception and they want to pay a certain amount of the bar tab (so they put about $2000 down on the tab and once that money is used up, it becomes a cash bar) and there are people that are not alcoholics that wouldn't mind having a drink (mainly my FI and some of our close friends and family). Should we serve alcohol or not?
