Theme help please~

My wedding is only about 6 weeks away...SOO EXCITED!!  : D
I've worked so hard on this, so the fact that its almost all done and ready to be here is HUGE!!  My Fi and I are counting down the days!

I have pretty much everything done...except the final touches.  This is where I need some creative women's help!!  ; )

My theme is Winter Fairy Tale...very whimsical....aqua and orchid are my colors...using alot of silver and white too to balance it out..
Right now- centerpieces are large vases that are both of my first two colors above.,..rotating them on each table...putting fake snow around the bases of them, with white LED lights underneath...
I feel like its too plain...I need some more UMPH on the tables...
We have a really nice guest table that will have our picture, signs, decorations, flowers on it...but the tables themsevles seem too....bare to me...
My inspiration was Cinderella...thought about a glass slipper somewhere in the room...or a carriage n horses...not sure tho...I want subtle...yet whimsical...(hmm- cant have both though, huh?)  If not- I prefer the whimiscal...just not over the edge...

Any ideas to spruce it up some more?  Thank you..
God is Faithful!

I honestly wouldn't add any more.  It sounds like you have enough, and once people sit down with their plates, purses, silverware, whatever, they won't be plain or empty.  You don't want to overcrowd them.

The only suggestion I can think of is maybe a table runner in silver.</div>
  • more isnt always better-it's just more.
your theme is not cinderella or fairy tales. skip those additions.
if you want to add something add candles.

  • Thanks..
CMGr- I happen to LOVE fairytales and themes.  I am very creative and those stories speak to me....as they do to many people.  Everyone I have shared my ideas with, think its totally romantic and sweet...you are entitled to your own opinion though...so thanks for sharing.

  • Candles always add effect. Or maybe some small silver snowflake ornaments-- you can get a pack of them for relatively cheap now that the stores are filled with holiday decorations. Lay them on the place settings and they can also double as a party favor.
    PitaPata Dog tickers

     Daisypath Wedding tickers
  • Picture number 3....surround the vases with small ornaments in your colors?

I love adding glittered fruit to surround the candles...

Or look at hobby/craft stores for crystal, glass or beaded garland that can be swirled around the base of the candles.
