how to decorate low ceiling reception that has rectangular chandelier?

how do i decorate the ceiling?? it looks so boring. :< but the ceiling is so low so i can't really use canopies... what can i do?help!!

No one will notice the ceiling. I promise you.  The ballroom is beautiful you do not need to dress up the ceiling.  Guests will be staring at you, not up.

Centerpieces usually draw peoples attention more than ceilings and walls.

I wouldn't worry about it.  I people are spending their time at your wedding looking at the ceiling and pondering what it looks like, you have much bigger problems to deal with.

Seriously.....what did the ceilings look like at the last six weddings you attended?  Can't remember?  It's because although the wedding industry would have you believe that things like ceiling decor are critical to the success of your wedding, the truth is that it's just not.

What will guests care about?  Good food.  Good drinks.  Good music.  A gracious and welcoming bride and groom.  Put the money you'd spend on ceiling decor into something that WILL impact your guests' experience.  And that's not what's hanging from the ceiling.

Of course, if you have an unlimited budget, ignore everything I just said and hire David Tutera.

you see the uplighting in that one photo? I'd look into uplighting and use a nice centerpiece.. i like the room. don't worry about the ceiling.. i think it's kind of cool looking.

Don't stress yourself about this. Don't decorate the ceiling, it really doesn't need it. That space is lovely and IF someone does notice the ceiling, they will most likely remark at how nice the chandeliers are.
