Help! Use different colored napkins/overlays on every other table?

My colors are ivory, pink, and brown. Someone brought up the idea that I should use ivory tablecloths on each table. On half of the tables I should use pink napkins with brown table overlays and on the other half I should do brown napkins with pink overlays. I'm a very visual person, and I just can't decide if that would even look okay!  Do people alternate colors on every other table or should I just stick with the same decor for each table? I would really appreciate any kind of help or opinions!

I think you should use the same color decor on each table. You are already mixing it up w/ overlays and napkins, I think it might look sloppy or un-coordinated if you alternate. Jut my opinion though

I am actually using pink and brown and I am thinking of alternating. I am not using color napkins or anything but I think it would look fine. I am trying to do something where it will look a little different but the colors will still coordinate.

To me it seems like more trouble than it's worth to alternate. I don't think it will visually add anything and then you've got to deal with the jigsaw puzzle of making sure you can do every other one without running into 2 of the same butting against each other. I'd choose one color and do that.

I'm using 2 different color table cloths(yellow and blue) Actually they are different shades so it's more like 5 colors. I think it looks great, yours will too. I personally like the variety of color rather than the sterile matchy-matchy of many weddings. Just my 2 cents.
