Hi everyone! I went to a wedding on Friday night and made sure to listen to the DJ because we are in the market for one. I found the whole reception to be highly unorganized. People didn't know if they could dance or not and he started just playing any songs he had on his IPOD. I didn't really have a chance to talk to him. I want to find out what if any direction the couple gave the DJ because I think he is a nice guy, just unguided. I am thinking about creating the playlist song for song for the DJ and allowing requests from guests at the wedding. I want to avoid the awkwardness can we dance now or not question. I want the party to keep flowing and not have whole bouts of 20 mins when no one is on the dance floor. It is really important to me to throw a good party where it is clear if you are able to dance or not. Thoughts on picking out every song for the DJ??
