sign for guest book table

So we have a plate to be signed and also a picture frame mat to be signed. We really dont care who signs what, or if everyone signs both that is ok too, i want to put a small sign on the table saying, "hey sign these" only i'd like it worded a little beter.
the only examples i've found seem to be more appropriate for just one thing to sign.

Can you just ask a few people to sign each one so that people will see signatures and get the point?

Why two things?  Why not just one thing?

I have a horrible track record at guestbooks -- I'd say I actualy sign/thumbrint/polaroid about 50% (at BEST) of the guestbooks at events I attend.   Having two things just doesn't make sense to me.  I would probably not sign either.

We had our wedding party sign our non-traditional "guestbook" at the rehearsal dinner. Enough other people just got the hint at the reception to make it look cool.

we have two thinsgs becuse we have about 220 guests. i had orignally purchased the plate rightfter wegot engaged and then fiancees sister apparently made a comment about how his side of the family alone would cover the plate. so i started thinking maybe she was right so we picked up the frame too.

and no worresi if you were at my wedding, id hunt you down to sign my guest book!! lol

Maybe a cute "Sign me" with arrows?  The right coloring and font can go a long way!!

We are also having 2 thing for signing, a baseball jersey and the traditional guestbook. I just printed out a cute poem and put it in a picture frame so guests would know they could sign 1 or both items. The poem reads...
" Instead of a book to just stick in a drawer,
Name and Name thought they'd do something more.
Please sign their jersey or guestbook or both
with a poem, or a drawing, even an anecdote!
If you prefer, some advice would be nice,
on how to stay married and keep the spice"
