We are on VERY tight budget. We are planning to get married at a relatives beautiful home - elegant foyer, pond off the back etc... It looks like something out of a bridal magazine. I am nervous about the cost of food (50 people) and I have gotten a ton of suggestions from friends. Some have suggested an evening ceremony and serving only cocktails and a decadent dessert buffet, others said appetizers/finger foods, a small wedding cake and drinks. We plan to get married in January, so I can see how both of these options would work and I can envision it. That being said is it "too cheap". Any other tasteful but inexpensive suggestions?? The lack of sleep I'm getting from the stress of this decision is making city hall look better and better!
