We set a date yesterday (feb 12th 2011) and found a venue.
We found a barn that we LOVE. We are having the ceremony and the reception there.
We are doing in the winter time, but two days before valentines day.
I was originally thinking of doing whites, silvers and ice blues for the color palette but for some reason I keep thinking red, for valentines day.
What other colors have you seen people use for winter weddings?
Re: Need help with colors.
The white/silver/ice blue combo is ridiculously overplayed for winter weddings. You have a lot more options if you don't limit yourself to what's common for the season.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
I think you should go with whatever colors you and your FI love. I think reds really look amazing in the winter months they really pop. If you like the blues, white, and silver go ahead, but if you are doing it because of the time of year, then skip it. Do the colors you like.
