Please ease my worries

I am getting married in about 2 weeks and everything is what I want...or as close to what I want for being a winter wedding (I really wanted a summer wedding but cuz we are both in the military and moving to germany in two months...we cant have that). The one thing that is kind of stressing me out are the tables. The first three tables are really nice hardwood tables with really nice chairs. But the other one is a white folding table. It will have the same decor and tablecloths but I am so worried that ppl will find the last table really tacky and not want to sit there. It was supposed to be a kids table while the parents enjoy themselves and not have to worry about them but now that I think about it, some of the kids are too young to be by themselves...they range from 3 to 7...and we will leave it for open seating. There isnt anyway to change it so that is not an option. Is this something that is plausible to stress over or am I being silly???

  • How is this...?
I am envious and wish you the best, most beautiful winter wedding in history.  I had always wanted a winter wedding.  My FI wanted a fall wedding.  When we were getting engaged and found "the perfect" venue, they offered the Sunday price for a Saturday booking the wedding dead months of March!  So.... We compromised.  As I'm sure you have learned, BONUS on price breaks from everything from band, to flowers, to FOOD.  woo hoo.

So, winter wonderland is magical and makes your wedding, as well as your anniversary unique.  You will enjoy anniversary trips for years to come as travel will always be "off peak".

    Congratulations and enjoy your day.

  • I have no idea what the tables or chairs looked like or whether they were the same at all tables at any of the weddings I went to last summer.  I do know that they all had tablecloths, centerpieces, food and drink.  It will be fine.
  • If they all have the same linens and centerpieces, no one will know what the table looks like underneath the linens.  I think you're overthinking it.

  • oh my goodness, dear! if only that was the least of my worries! i HIGHLY doubt that ANYone will notice... at all.

perhaps there's an older child (teen) or two who would be willing to sit with the children? maybe that could be an option...
