We are doing a dessert and candy bar instead of a cake. I think it would be cute to feed each one of our favorite desserts, cannoli instead of doing the cake. I think it would be different and give a new twist. Doing desserts and candy is completely us.
I am worried that some people will think we are nuts - plus MIL is already upset we aren't having cake as dessert. She is expecting us to do the cake cutting/feeding with a mini cake. It's not her wedding I know, but still I do not wish to hear about it every time cake is an option for the rest of my life. She mentions the fact that we aren't having cake whenever it is served somewhere -it's rather annoying.
