I've only ever seen it done at the reception but that was because the ceremony and the reception were at different places. Mine are in the same building and my MOH suggested having both the gift table and the guestbook together for the guests to do first thing when they walk into the ceremony. Her reasoning was that people will probably bring in the gifts to the ceremony (so as not to have to go back to their car to get it during the reception) and so they need to be dropped off right away, which is true. So while they are dropping off their gifts why not just get the guestbook taken care of at the same time. Do you think this is a good idea? Or should I have the gift table upstairs for the ceremony and the guest book downstairs for people to do during the reception? We have about 68 guests, if that helps any. And we are doing the guest book finger print tree. Thanks!
