nautical, preppy, vintage, ughhh decor

i'm gathering my decor ideas, and i'm struggling to stay cohesive.

our ceremony/reception venue is seaside preppy. think, green grass ceremony loc. on the edge of the chesapeake bay. white wood beach house decor, but clean and simple, not kitschy. more nautical than beachy. (to me they're different...is that ridiculous?)

i'm a big fan of the clean and simple, and i'm incorporating just a few nautical elements to compliment the seaside feel. not seashells galore, but navy, nautical rope...

however, i'm loving some vintage ideas, like i'm using lots of mason jars as vases, vintage mirrors and picture frames, etc.

i know it's hard to picture of course, but does is sound cohesive enough?

i want to be able to have the different elements i'm attracted to, but i don't want to go crazy either.

i feel like i'm swimming in ideas!

Beachy and nautical are totally different!  

I think if you incorporate the elements together, it would be very cohesive.  Maybe use the sailing ropes to hang the mirrors or use sailing knots of string as napkin holders.
