In 2012 both my parents and my FIL will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary (one before our date and one after). I was thinking because in this day and age to have both of our parents still married is amazing I wanted to do something.
I was thinking of doing some sort of acknowledgment for this. Is it odd to celebrate someone else on your wedding day? should this be saved for a seperate event or the rehersal dinner?
We both care for our parents deeply and this means a bunch for me.
