Dollar Dance Alternative

Re: Dollar Dance Alternative

  • I want to know when it became okay to ask people for money?

I was raised to not ask for money, but save your own so you can afford whatever it is you want.

  • Just because lots of people from one culture or area have done something rude for a very long time, repeatedly, doesn't make it less rude.  It just makes it acceptable.

Stage's version of the dollar dance is the only one that's suitable.  The other alternatives are still asking guests for money, and any way you spin that - it's still unacceptable.

<div>It never became ok.  But as our society has become so much more materialistic, people have started caring more about getting stuff than about having a little class.  </div><div>
</div><div>People will try to justify any level of selfish behavior now.  It's truly disgusting.  </div>
  • But people shouldn't be insulting when responding. Some people are just rude.

  • But everyone can respond however they like. Opinions vary
