Fake China

So, I haven't figured out how to search the blogs to see in anyone else has had this question.  Has anyone ever used this stuff and if so, what was it like?  They say it looks like China but was it a tacky version, did it look and feel like China?  I want everything to look expensive, I just don't want to spend the money.  But I will bite the bullet if these things are a cheap quality wise as they are monetarily.

I'm not using fake china, (or maybe I am), but I am using premium plastic. Laa-dee-da.  It's heavy as hell and sturdy, like dishwasher say.  I was pretty impressed and I'm an asss when it comes to things like that.  I bought my plates at Party City -- if there's one in your area, I'd go check them out.

On a related topic, I'm ordering my silveware - which looks like actual silver, but it's plastic from Smarty Had a Party.  I'll let you know how that goes.  Also, I bought some from Party City, but the website is lots cheaper.

you can always just get plates and silverwear from dollar tree or a dollar store

We chose clear plastic. It looks like crystal and can be purchased at any warehouse style store like Sam's Club or Costco.
