Paris theme with Peacock Colors!!??

I know for sure that I am going to have peacock colors at my wedding.  We decided on this because my grandfather(who has passed now) owned a farm and he had peacocks on his farm, When he passed my mother saved several peacock feathers from his birds so we decided that we would incorporate those feathers in my bouquet and the grooms bout. and then just use those colors... up until today I thought well maybe I will just do those colors and thats all no real theme...and then it hit me PARIS THEME WITH PEACOCK COLORS!!  I think Paris would be a neat theme for us because he loves Paris and on our first valentines day together everything he bought me was paris themed.  What does everyone think of this idea and do you have any ideas for the paris theme?  I don't want it to be too cheesy.

I love the peacock idea because it is so special to you and means something. I recommend not only in your bouquet and bout but also use the peacock flowers in centerpieces and other elements.  What are your ideas to incorporate the Paris theme?  Food?  Paris landmarks?  I'm just trying to better understand what you have in mind for your Paris theme.

</div><div>I'm not really sure what to do with Paris...like the eiffel tower and just the romance idea.  Well we are having the flowers represent the colors in the peacock feather.  We are having green mums, purple carnations, blue hydrangea, white hydrangea, and white roses.  I was hoping to get some ideas on putting the two ideas together. just not sure...I just know I love both! :)</div>

I'm using the same colors for my wedding. I love these colors and was worried that it might not work. My theme is vintage rustic country, mouth full right? Just glad to see others using the same colors. Would love to be able to see these colors together in photos. I guess we may be the first in this trend. Good luck!!

That sounds beautiful and very romantic.  Maybe you could have some French type foods .....crepes, croissants and pastries come to mind..... background music with a French flavor during cocktail hour and dinner,....decorations incorporating pictures of Paris landmarks, possibly even use different landmarks for your table "numbers".  The tall skinny vases are even called Effel towers.  Up lighting also comes to mind as Paris is the "City of Lights"  Paris is also known for famous artwork so that could be a possible way to go with decorations also.

the peacock theme can be the base of your ceremony and maybe your reception can be the Paris theme with the peacock colors meshed into it? those would look pretty in photos
