I have always, always, always had my heart set on a good band from my wedding. I've envisioned it as a little girl and now as a grown woman... it has always been something I knew I wanted. I've made the "priority list" of things I want to spend money on and of course the band was at the top of the list.
However - bands are sooo much more expensive than djs and I honestly can't bring myself to pay what they are asking. In order to make it fit, I would have to cut a lot of little things. I am having live ceremony and cocktail musicians and am stuck on wether or not I can squeeze in a live band.
Knotties, I need your advice. At the end of the day, does it make that big of a difference? If I have live muscians everywhere else, does it still keep it classic and traditional if I have a dj at the reception?
I need logical opinions, because if I were to "follow my heart" I would break the bank.
