Vintage Travel Theme

Hey! Just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas for a vintage travel themed wedding. The ceremony/reception are at an old renovated train depot in FL. So far I'm thinking railway lanterns to hold candles in the centerpieces, and I think the luggage inspired cakes can be cute. Also, what do you all think about these vintage map placemats below?

Any ideas?

The pictures are tiny in the link but the idea sounds great. I've seen several vintage boarding passes and passports on etsy.com that can be used as invites.

You could use some old globes as centerpieces, or just as decor in key locations.  But remember that a little theme goes a long way, so I think with the cake, placemats, invitations, and centerpieces, you're good.  If you wanted to do favors, maybe you could do luggage tags, or cookies shaped as such.

yeah, i def dont want to over-do it, so im going with that advice for sure. love the globe idea, ill see what FI thinks. our favors are actually going to be tiny wooden train whistles and we will possibly have our wedding date and names burned onto them if it isnt too expensive!
