does anyone have a suggestion for the groom dancing with the brides mother and the bride dancing with the grooms's dad - and old song from the 40's would work or a Tommy Dorsey instrumental  or an Italian popular song...

    Are these in addition to the typical mother/son; father/daughter dance?  Because honestly, if it's more "spotlight" dances where all your guests have to stand around and watch you dance, I'd skip them.

    You can still dance with your new FIL, and your FI can dance with his new MIL without making it yet another thing for your guests to have to stand around for.

    As a guest, I like the "first dance".  I like the F/D dance.  I like the M/S dance.  Beyond that....enough already.  Let the rest of us dance.
