would it be over the top to have a peace sign somewhere in my centerpiece? my fiance is a marine (he's a disguised hippie, don't be fooled by the cami's, haha)... and i'm a definite peace/love/happiness yogi bride

im trying to have a sort of nature theme, without a huge eco-impact, so ive been toying around with a bunch of ideas... like pretty lanterns with flowers spilling out, or a simple zen bowl/stone deal... maybe on top of a decorated mirror? also... in anyone's experience, do such ideas bring down florists costs? i want something simple to tie the tables together... nothing huge and view obstructing. am i in the wrong in thinking that it'll be cheaper in the flower dept?
hahaha, oh man. ive gotten so much accomplished, but i've still got SO much to do. i never knew how much goes into this whole process.
