Got my Kitchenaid Mixer!!!

I got home today from my 3 week to Boston trip. Fiancee said I had a huge box from Bed Bath and Beyond that showed up yesterday. I opened it and it is my kitchen aid mixer!! My mom's best friend can't make it to our wedding so she ordered everything and had it shipped to us. She got us the mixer, kitchen towels, oven mits, cupcake pans, spatulas, and wooden spoons. With a note saying why wait, start baking now! I am so excited!!!!!!! The mixer is the one thing on our registry that I really really wanted, and now I get an extra 4 months out of it!

WoW! thats one awesome bestfriend your mom has! Congrats on all those gifts.  Just don't go too crazy on the baking, your FI needs to make sure he fits in his suit

I've always heard you aren't supposed to use wedding gifts until after the wedding?

Your not but if there's a note that says" don't wait until your wedding day start baking today"  I think it's ok.

Agreed with everone else, she specifically said she wanted me to use it now, so I am going to. I have heard that though, and if I get early gifts I am not going to open them, this was just unexpected and we had no idea what it was so I did open it.
