WHAT WILL WOW?

I  need something to wow my guest.  I do not want to have a wedding that is the same old southern baptist style ceremony, food, no dancing.  I need something that won't cost a fortune to do but will really set my wedding apart from other weddings my family memebers go to.  It could be simple like a great center piece or something more extravagent.  HELP!!!!

Awesome food. People love to eat, and a lot of times "wedding food" is pretty boring. Have a great meal and great desserts that people will remember.

I agree, with pp, that the food is the #1 thing I remember from weddings.  I can honestly tell you the last two weddings I was at I don't remember the decorations, music, etc.  I remember the food, and I remember the bride's dress.

Thanks I have never thought of that!  I have been stressing over decorations and such.  We are doing fireworks so that will also be something cool everyone will remember.

if you are still not wanting to have dancing you should at least have nice music playing somehwere.

first, what are your colors?  Also, Its the smallest details that wow!  I did a wedding that comes to mind, I set her cake up, so help save her money, but she wanted a "dessert" table as well. So I took a small round table, then put a small stool in the middle, covered the whole thing in fabric, then on top of the stool, put a vase with flowers, then added 3 finger desserts on plates on the table, added votives, then rose pedals, it was so elegant and ppl could NOT quit talking about it!   She wanted red & black so we did small $1plates and a single vase in the middle, then added T-Lights, added cranberries around it, it was so simple and ppl were astonished...  It was simple, cheap and ppl still were talking about it for months after!
