need help to match color lapis

Hello all my husband and I are redoing our wedding vows.When we got married 10 yrs ago this coming july 6.I didnt have a wedding.My mom was going to Alaska so we had to move our wedding date up.So we just got married in front of a judge.I never had a wedding cake a wedding dress or even a reception.So this july 16,2011 we are having a real wedding.I bought my dress and most of my other stuff.My theme is two hearts one love.Im having troubles trying to match the color lapis.I am looking for suggestions for the reception decorations.Thanks to all and i wish everyone the best on their wedding date. thank you

Welcome to the boards and congratulations on your vow renewal..

Lapis is a beautiful color and there are many thiings you can do.  You should check http://www.perfectpalette.com. She has some beautiful inspiration boards that may help you.

A word of warning to you:  many on these boards will disagree that you didn't have a wedding.  Your wedding was when you stood in front of the JOP and said your vows.  What you are having now is a vow renewal and anniversary party.  There is nothing wrong with that, but it isn't a wedding.

</div><div>This exactly. There are plenty of ladies here who had a JOP wedding and not a Pretty Princess Day and their weddings are just as real as can be. They tend to get offended at the implication that they didn't have a wedding.
