Hey Ladies!
What do you think of having a picnic dinner after the ceremony, before going to the reception site for cake and dancing? Our venue only has limited options for dinner, and since it's August we thought it'd be fun to do something outside for just a bit. I like that we can cater from basically anywhere, whether we want family favorites or barbecue food or whatever.
For entertainment we could do "Couple's Trivia" with a few prizes for guests who get the most correct. Then we'd head over to the reception site...
The church, picnic site, and reception venue are all within a few blocks from each other, but it would require people to move between the three.
Would this be too much of a hassle? The in-laws are also worried about it being too hot for a couple of older people...granted it's North Dakota so hot isn't HOT, but a tent maybe wouldn't be a bad idea either...
Would love to hear your wise insight--thanks in advance!!
