Wash new tablecloths?

I just got the tablecloths I ordered from Linentablecloth.com. Not sure what protocol is now. I know they will probably need steamed or ironed before the wedding, but should I wash them or is that a waste of time?

    We did not wash or iron ours. We had a DW and it just wasn't possible. Our DOC laid them flat the day before the wedding. You can definitely see the lines, but they make kind of a square pattern so I let it go. In the grand scheme of things, nbd.
