How much do I tip my caterer????

I am getting married on Saturday, and I honestly don't know how much to give for the gratuity portion of our bill. He said it was totally at our descretion but need help. Our total bill was $2,482.50 for 150 guests. Anyone have suggestions.

Gratuity is normally 15-20%. Does this caterer include service staff? Are you paying them separately?

I think ours is an automatic 18% gratuity which made it easier

I personally think that you shouldnt haha - my wedding is in october and i got final quotes lastmonth almost 1000 in gradituties. bs
